Cars, Vans and Motorcycles that were due their MOT from 30 March 2020 have had their MOT extended by 6 months. This temporary exemption has enabled vital services to continue, frontline workers to get to work, and people to get essential food and medicine.
NOTE: You must make sure your vehicle is safe to drive (‘roadworthy’). It can be unsafe even if your MOT expiry date has been extended and you could be prosecuted.

If your MINI warranty expired during COVID-19 restrictions, your warranty coverage will have been extended until 30th June 2020. Sandal will honour all end of warranty checks which would normally have been performed during the lockdown period.
If the service on your MINI was due during COVID-19 restrictions, providing it was within 3 months or 2,000 miles (whichever is earlier) of the service indicator, it will be protected in full by any applicable warranty.
Our Service centres are now reopened and will be in touch to book in those cars with MOT’s, services and repairs that were cancelled.
If your car is unsafe to drive, please contact BMW Roadside Assistance on 0800777111 and they can arrange for a trained technician to attend.
